The Friends of Salt Point coordinates video camera streaming the nesting antics of two resident ospreys at Salt Point Natural Area in Lansing, NY. The webcam was powered by a newer battery, but during longer cloudy stretches, the battery was depleting faster than the old, solitary 85-watt solar module could charge it.
Sungineer Solar donated a few solar modules and custom fabricated a DIY racking solution to mount them.
And now, we can all enjoy watching Orpheus and Ursula raise their chicks!
