The QSI designation from NYSERDA “recognizes solar installers who consistently meet high standards of quality.” To be eligible, installers must be active participants in the NY-SUN program, install at least a minimum number of projects, and hold an average field Quality Assurance score of 4.0 or greater.
Last year, 2021, was the first year that Sungineer Solar was large enough to meet the minimum project requirement. All of our inspections from last year received a 5 out of 5 score.

On a related note, as Sungineer Solar has continued to refine and grow our business, we have made the intentional and strategic decision not to expand too quickly. We love our client base and our work too much to give it up by becoming managers of people and process – we’d rather do the work ourselves!
As a result, we are currently booking projects into the summer of 2022. A measured pace allows us meet our timelines and budgets, adhere to exceptional quality standards, and give every project and client relationship the TLC they deserve.
